E4S PLATFORM

SSL monitoring

Make certificate expiry visible before users see an error

For registered HTTPS websites, E4S records certificate validity, hostname context, and expiry information as part of the configured checks. Expiry alerts can reach the responsible operator through enabled channels and preferences.

Review before renewal

  1. Confirm the registered hostname and the final HTTPS endpoint after redirects.
  2. Inspect the latest completed certificate check and its timestamp.
  3. Compare expiry and warning state with the renewal schedule.
  4. Recheck after renewal and confirm the new certificate is served.

A certificate can be valid while the website is down; examine HTTP and service status too. See website and SSL guidance.
